art party

Name: Mo Bofill
Occupation: Senior Designer at Zulu Alpha Kilo
Pieces submitted in the 2010 art show: ‘Sea’ - sold for $250 and ‘Salt’ - available for sale.
R5T: How did you hear about the Art Party?
MB: From Ashley :) and the Tendril team.
R5T: How many years have you submitted art?
MB: This is my first year.
R5T: Tell us about your artwork.
MB: I call it ‘Sea & Salt’. One of the pieces is called ‘Sea’ (the one on the left) and the one in the photograph with me is called ‘Salt’ (let’s just say one cup of raw salt was used in this painting.) Conceived after consuming a whole bag of Miss Vickies Salt & Vinegar chips while brainstorming.
R5T: What is your favourite thing about participating in the event?
MB: Besides drinking wine, munching on some brie and crackers, rubbing shoulders with some pretty cool people while sharing stories about the most interesting parts of their far-from-mundane day… For real, the art show is a brilliant idea. It’s a great creative break and a great excuse to spend time with some lovely people.
R5T: What do you love most about creating art?
MB: When I finish a piece, I have no regrets.
R5T: What is your favourite style of artwork?
MB: Deconstructivism.
